Some minecraft mods

I decided to fire up minecraft after a while of not playing single player and decided to find some mods to make my experience better,

As someone who loves archeology and exploration in video games I was wondering what kind of mods I would like to use while playing Minecraft. Here is my list of mods I like to use to keep a vanilla like experience. I run these mods in 1.21.1 because why not! I thought "well this works" After trying it on 1.21.6 due to some mods not being fully updated and when i tried 1.21.1 one of the mods basically messed the 1.21.0 mod up and put it downloads the 1.21.1 version...

Main Mods

Better Archeology
A plugin that adds some cool new things to find. After playing this mod I have found some crazy cool structures and small dungeons that have a bunch of lore and loot. Having a home while using this mod seemed a bit against the idea so I got a donkey and I have been traveling for days and discovering amazing structures.

This mod does require some dependencies. Here are some links to it.

(Dependency 1)

Wilder Wild Update
Amazingly cool mod that tweaks the world generation that has a Minecrafty feel while still feeling unique.
It isnt fully vanilla and adds some new items but its worth it imo.
(Mod)

Dungeons & Taverns
A mod that adds some fun builds into your world that allow you to explore more and randomly find them.
(Mod)

Misc Mods

Fabric API
Yeah you kinda should expect this one.
(Mod)

Mod Menu
A mod that just adds a mod menu. I don't know why fabric
doesn't have it by default but this surely seems to be a great way to
know what mods are loaded!
(Mod)

Performance mods

Sodium
A performance mod.
(Mod)

Entity Culling
This mod "culls" the entities. Basically if you can't see them the game wont try to draw them.
(Mod)

Indium
This mod is optional (I think). It does some magic with sodium and the fabric rendering bla bla bla.

I think if you only want to add on top of the Minecraft experience these should do the trick. I didn't want to overdo the modding because I don't like to mod something like Minecraft into something I don't recognize as Minecraft,
All of the links you find here lead to Modrinth. If I find any more mods that improve performance I will dedicate a whole blog post on how those mods improve Minecraft's performance.
